Chrissy McIntyre is a mixed media and collage artist specializing in intricate, photorealistic (yet quirky) compositions using hand-cut magazine paper. Her work began with a spontaneous collage experiment that evolved into commissioned pet portraits and expanded into her Travelogue series, inspired by her personal travels and photography. Each piece is meticulously crafted, layering tiny squares of paper to create depth and realism. Drawing influence from artists like Warhol, Lichtenstein, Chuck Close, Mark Herald, and Peter Clark, her work merges pop art energy with a unique, textural approach to storytelling through collage.
