Stephen Wilson expertly crafts extraordinary and timeless designs using sustainable materials. Each art piece embarks on a journey, starting with an up-cycled luxury bag, box, silk scarf, or album. Wilson meticulously creates a bespoke embroidery design, delicately intertwining every stitch by hand.

The album series begins with a vintage album sleeve, which serves as the foundation for intricate designs created with a variety of techniques such as yarn embroidery and photorealistic embroidery. Each album is carefully embroidered with over 200,000 stitches, taking more than 8 hours to complete. Upon completion, the album is adorned with embroidered patches and other decorative objects, making each one truly unique.

"Perhaps one the biggest debut albums of all time. There is something about a debut album that gets me excited. The artist is giving everything to get their songs out, they often have a lifetime of ideas and are putting them all on the line with a debut album. Essentially, they will make it or break it with this one shot. I have created quite a few debut albums in this album series; Jimi Hendrix, Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sex Pistols, all amazing debut albums. For Amy Winehouse I wanted to add a few special details. I started by stitching tonal black hearts in yarn over the stark black background and then for Amy herself sitting in the tub I used over 40 colors of rayon thread to get all of the details in her face and hair. The piece was finished with a large logo patch that was embroidered and then added to the album at the end." – Stephen Wilson
