GIFFORDS - Fight against gun violence.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first community service campaign to raise money to fight gun violence in America.

In June 2021 Morton Contemporary hosted a charitable auction with the esteemed Giffords organization - a foundation established by former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords after she nearly died of a gunshot wound - Gabrielle's sole mission today is to end gun violence.

We  auctioned off an extraordinary painting (featured below) created by our friend & gallery artist, Suave Gonzalez, who spent 31 years in prison in connection to a gun violence arrest. His painting features 3 young siblings from a rough Philly neighborhood who all tragically died far too young. The mother of these kids (Cora) is the true hero of this story. Her courage to persevere and never giving up hope inspired us to get involved in this campaign.

Please consider donating to Cora's GoFundMe - she really needs our help! It would be so appreciated if you would consider sharing this campaign with your friends & social networks as well! For more information about this family, The GoFundMe will fill you in.

Thank you for taking action to make a difference in the lives of so many.

100% of the proceeds for this auction campaign will be donated.
