"In each piece, I strive to focus on themes that resonate deeply with me - relationships, women's empowerment, and the spectrum of everyday emotions. My art is not just a visual experience - it's a conversation about the diverse experiences and struggles we all face in life." – Sarah Fishbein

Sarah Fishbein is a contemporary glass mosaic artist who has spent nearly 20 years pushing the boundaries of visual art. After a successful career in editorial video production, she embraced Pop Art, infusing her mosaics with the vibrant, comic-book style of 1950s romance comics. Her intricate technique blends expressionist color with the craftsmanship of stained glass and mosaic tile. Fishbein’s work explores themes of nostalgia, feminism, empowerment, sexuality, and modern relationships. The artist infuses her glass mosaics with the vibrant, comic-book aesthetic of 1950s romance comics, creating brilliant reinterpretations of today's modern world through the timeless medium of glass.

Inspired by Pop Art icons like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, the artist transforms everyday narratives into thought-provoking, emotional pieces. Her mosaics serve as both visual storytelling and commentary, reflecting the evolving role of women and shifting dynamics of love and power. By reimagining Pop Art in glass, Fishbein redefines the medium while honoring its pioneers, adding new depth and relevance to popular culture’s reflection on society.
